At the Law Office of Patrick Flanigan, we represent clients throughout Philadelphia and surrounding areas in Pennsylvania and New Jersey in the areas of employment law and commercial fishing and maritime law.

Patrick Flanigan hails from a strong working-class background in Pennsylvania. Born in Chester and raised in Ridley Township, he takes pride in being an advocate for individuals, not corporations. Attorney Flanigan relates to his clients and understands their daily struggles, both in and out of the workplace, to support a family, make ends meet, as well as have a little left over to pay for college, vacation and savings.

Prior to obtaining his law degree, attorney Flanigan worked for many years as a commercial scallop fisherman, boat captain and vessel owner, fishing the deep sea waters from Maine to Virginia, Oregon and Alaska. Spending 10 to 16 days at sea on each trip, he knows the value of a strong work ethic, integrity and focus. We apply the same dedication and meticulous effort to every employment case we handle.

Attorney Flanigan obtained his J.D. from Widener School of Law in Delaware in 2002 and was a law clerk for three different judges while a student. After graduation, he worked for a Philadelphia firm focusing on plaintiff-side workers' compensation and employment discrimination cases. He established his own law firm in 2007.

Attorney Flanigan is admitted to practice in Pennsylvania and New Jersey state and federal courts and in the United States Court of Appeals for the 3rd Circuit.
